Car Song

I’ll begin the Music Video Challenge with this (Philadelphia-connected!) Spank Rock / Santigold video. This piece is beautifully composed with very intentional visual decisions, as well as art + design references to everything from artists Sol Lewitt (wall drawings) and Yves Klein (blue), to minimalism, surrealism and Alejandro Jodorowsky's film The Holy Mountain.  Also of note: this video was directed by artist Luis Gispert, who taught my grad school Photography Seminar at Penn Design.  - Chris
