She filled an abandoned pool with flowers, teddy bears, and candles. The installation made me think about context in a new way: usually, in relation to art, I think of context as thing from the artist's life and experiences that influence the produced work, but Patterson's piece made me see that an artist can also enter into a context or environment and make art there.
