Adobe Smart Notebook
Let's be real, I think everyone at one point has either owned a Moleskine notebook or wanted a Moleskine notebook. Personally, I'm a fan of their paper quality, the diverse variety they come in (watercolor, blank, lined, planner, etc), and their durability. Yes, they're not the best sketchbooks out on the market if you buy a standard one and use wet mediums (watercolors are my weakness), but they're pretty good at holding inks and graphite.
Adobe has taken that a step further and has incorporated a way for analogue and digital art to come together. At this year's Adobe Max, which is basically like a conference/convention for all things Adobe, an exciting new collaboration with Moleskine was announced. Along with the new Pen + Ellipse tool, Adobe has announced the release of the Adobe Smart Notebook. Basically, it's a Moleskine notebook with special page markings on the inside that allows the Creative-Cloud connected Moleskine app to take a photo of it and convert it straight into a JPG then to a SVG file. You can then use the CC system and open up the image in Photoshop or Illustrator to work on it more.

This is honestly MIND BLOWING to me. I mean, I guess it's not the most original idea since I feel like people have been trying to develop or have developed similar concepts before but with the paper quality of Moleskine and the digital capabilities of Creative Cloud, it's like a match made in heaven. The notebook itself is quite pricey so $32.95 might not be something anyone can/is willing to pay but with the ease and capabilities of this app + book combo, it might be worth it for those looking to combine analogue and digital, or smooth out the process of bringing their sketches into Illustrator and developing it into a nice digital graphic. To read more on the notebook and the new Pen + Ellipse, I would definitely recommend reading the whole article HERE.
