first movie ever made

I was talking to my friend who loves movies and films in general. I asked him what his favorite movies are and he gave me a list of suggestions. I was surprised to see "Arrival of a Train" in the list. This movie, a fifty seconds video, was the first movie ever made in history. The awkward transition in between each snapshot of the moving scene reminded me how much work it is needed to create a film and how much developments we made since 1896.
