Florence and the Machine's "Big God"

I don't generally watch a lot of music videos, but this is one I found particularly striking because of its simplicity. There isn't a lot going on in the video--if you were to remove the dancers, it may not be too visually interesting. Nevertheless, I think the choice of color, the water, and the movement of the dancers all help make the the video really great.

All of the dancers are wearing tints rather than hues. I think this choice helps to make the black background more present , even though the dancers can't help but stand out because they're the only figures in the video. The water at the bottom of the video is a really great and subtle addition-- it makes a simple black room so much more because it allows for reflection to be present in the video and has a particular and slight movement itself (ripples, splashing). Finally, the dancers. I think their arrangement and movement is really natural and smooth, but still exciting and powerful.
