Project 2.2

For this project, I wanted to criticize on our generation's obsession with technology. Nowadays, with the influx of various platforms in computer, it almost seems as if we are living inside the cyber world.  I put in a poem about nature in the dada poem generator, but when it was formed into a poem, it revolved around our lack of attention to the nature. In this gif. project, I hoped to use a vaporwave concept to portray the retro nature, and this is accentuated by the juxtaposition of the futuristic background music. This rather-idiosyncratic mixture may render confusion in one's mind, causing one to feel trapped in the cyber world. In this gif, I included several examples that are applicable to my experience to technology. One aspect I included was Tetris, which I was addicted in elementary school (ngl, I sometimes play it even to this day). The computer screen and the Tetris arcade both emit emotions of confinement.
