Easy Photo Design Apps/Tips

I am always looking for ways to make my photos unique, or even find easier ways to create Photoshop-like effects on photos or projects. Different than effects that can be made by VSCO and Facetune, these apps help turn photos into different forms of art, and I thought I'd share some favorites. Plus, they're easy to work with on your phone when you are on the run, and there's no need to pull out your laptop for Photoshop. I'll post examples of effects from each app below. And all of these apps are FREE!

1. 3D Effect

• make photos look 3D; create different filters/colors of 3D glasses-look; create "glitch" effects like distortion, blinds, waves, border expansion, etc.
• Used this to help me make a promotional poster for my a cappella group

2. Pixaloop

• animate photos by drawing lines of animation or adding pre-made effects
• used this in my animation project!

3. Prequel

• use to create glitch looks, VHS looks, rainbow effects, chrome effects, etc. turns photos into videos
• below is an example I just made from a photo of me (also used Bazaart to cut out and create background)

4. Bazaart

• easily cut out and layer images, change background and transparency, distort images, draw on/style images
• used this (and 3D Effect) to create a collage of my friends and me
